Dog saves baby

An Argentine dog has saved the life of an abandoned baby by caring for him along with her own puppies. The baby was born in a town outside Buenos Aires to a young girl who is believed to have panicked and left the baby in a field.

The dog La China is reported to have carried the baby 50m and then positioned him with her own puppies. Having heard a baby crying the dog’s owner went to investigate and finding a baby called the police.

The scared young mother came forward after the baby was found. The baby is being cared for by the authorities until future decisions are made.
